About the role
Role Location- Role can be based in any of our international offices -Our International Offices
Department : Supply Chain Services – Freight Forwarding & Logistics
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
Developing, Overseeing, improving, and growing CA/GSC’s ICL Solutions
• To oversee our current owned and third-party warehouses and storage solutions.
• Responsibility for the income stream, operations P&L and regular management reporting regarding warehousing
• To design and implement Standard Operating Plans (SOPs) for new and existing client ICL operations.
• To lead and train internal and external (3rd party) teams in the correct usage of Cargowise warehousing functionality
• To delegate work, coach and performance manage all team members to ensure that warehouse operations (and associated logistics requirements) are carried out to the agreed quality standards and good working relationships are maintained with clients and suppliers. (Current number of reports = 6, plus casual workers)
• To support the Director and other specialists in approaching prospective and existing clients and suppliers to develop ICL offer. This to support Client managers and their teams in their development.
• Working through a team of direct reports to ensure that operating process are followed and agreed standards maintained.
• To be the main technical ICL input for nominated bid responses
• To develop SOPs and suite of KPI’s for the ICL team to operate and measure performance against.
•To lead Continuous improvement programs across all ICL teams and operations.
• To contribute to the development of the wider CA/GSC business strategy, Annual Operating Plan, budget and forecast
Building and Maintaining Client & Supplier Relationships
• Maintain an on-going and pro-active relationship with clients, responding to needs and developing solutions.
• Developing ICL opportunities with new and existing clients / suppliers
Building and Maintaining Supplier relationships
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with both current and new suppliers to support CA/GSC ICL offer.
• Defining SLA’s & KPI’s to support the CA/GSC operation and used as part of regular reviews.
• Negotiating advantageous commercial arrangements with suppliers, without compromising quality
Business Development
• To be the technical and commercial lead for all ICL bid responses.
• Pulling in required resources as required internal from within the relevant GSC or CA supply chain cluster or CA support services eg IT as well as recommending and engaging appropriate 3rd party suppliers as needed.
• To work in an advisory role to clients in how to manage their end-end logistics requirements.

Technical delivery
Where applicable, the Job Holder shall
• Undertake all procurement in compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) in accordance with the provisions of our Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (Human) (WDA (H)) issued by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and our United Kingdom Controlled Drug Licence issued by the Home Office
• Ensure that all procurement is carried out using the relevant corporate IT system(s) in operation
About you
Requirements
Degree level, or equivalent working experience
Chartered Membership of Institute of Logistics Management or similar relevant professional qualification
Significant logistics experience (>10 years) in international organisation,
Proven LMIS configuration and deployments
ICL supplier management in fragile / conflict affected states.
