Job Title: Medical device Business development expert

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for Sales in specific regions (dependent upon language proficiency and experience)
  • Responsible for developing a sales team, coordinating sales operations and implementing sales techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its sales targets consistently
  • Evaluating budgets and determining ways to simplify and improve the sales process
  • Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities
  • Attending relevant trade shows and conferences, both domestic and international, to enhance the Maternova brand and establish new clientele
  • Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications and maintaining personal and professional networks
  • Learning all of the products in the portfolio rapidly and ensuring the ability to talk with clinicians with utmost confidence
  • Researching and developing sales opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's sales goals
  • Working in tandem with the marketing team to collectively achieve sales targets
  • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports
  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising
  • Effectively utilizing a CRM to track and improve sales leads
  • Attending regular meetings with the Maternova team and providing feedback and updates to CEO and the President on current initiatives and future plans

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field
  • 7-8 years of experience in medical device or diagnostic is a must
  • Specific experience in women's health, obstetrics, reproductive health or newborn health is an important added plus
  • International experience in Africa or Eastern Europe or Asia
  • Specific experience in startup medical device and diagnostic companies-- women's health preferred
  • Proficiency in multiple languages strongly preferred- Spanish, French, Arabic
  • Proficiency in CRM preferred
  • Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
