Description

The HRIS & Data Specialist is responsible in providing leadership to managing CORE’s HRIS while ensuring high standards of data integrity are being applied. This role will also lead improvements to achieve short-term and long-term objectives working with business related departments including but not limited to finance, information technology and partners as identified. The HRIS & Data Specialist reports to the head of human resources.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain optimal functions to HR systems which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance and upgrade to applications, systems, modules and software.
Serve as primary focal point to HRIS related initiatives including developing workplans and process flows.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting to HRIS users.
Collaborate with partners and head of human resources to identify system improvements, enhancements while recommending and implementing viable solutions.
Manage permissions, access, personalization and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
Compile and assist with the acquisition of data reports and summaries for leadership and team members.
Serve as lead liaison to HRIS and team members.
Conduct regular assessment including quality assurance testing, system audits, data cleanup and corrections.
Maintain high standards of confidentiality and in compliance with data privacy guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in HR/technology/HRIS or related field.
7+ years specific on HR System configuration or HIRS experience and non-profit HR processes and operations.
Expertise ideally with Paychex and development of related platforms.
Proven experience in HRIS operations, system design and implementation.
Experience with Paychex systems a plus.
Expertise on HR operations and IT platforms.
Proven technical knowledge of human resources practices.
Data analysis and Implementation of technical effective solutions; creative problem solver.
Project management experience and innovative thinking skills.
Process orientated and action-orientation with excellent follow-through skills.
Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
Savvy with technology and computer applications.
Excellent customer service skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated high level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
Proven ability to collaborate and work in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
