Description

Global objective :

·         Contribute to a better and more effective execution of the sector policy supported by the bilateral cooperation of the EU in Integral Development with coca leaf sector, increasing the capacity of national institutions to design and implement their plans and strategies in an efficient and timely manner.

Specific objective :

·         Contribute to a more effective execution and sustainability of sector policy in Integral Development with coca sector in Bolivia, the Estrategia de Desarrollo Integral Sustentable con coca EDISC 2021 -2025 (National Strategy for Sustainable, Integral Development with Coca 2021-2025), promoting following cross-cutting objectives: environment and climate change, rights based approach, persons with disability, indigenous peoples and gender equality.

Experts profile

·         Academic degree in the field of Agronomy/Tropical agronomy/Rural development or similar

·         Complementary trainings in topics related to the technical assistance requested such as macroeconomic, public finance management, budget support programmes

·         Minimum 6 years’ experience in project/programme implementation in Rural development sector

·         Experience in Latin America and specifically in Bolivia will be positively valued

·         Minimum 3 years’ experience as key expert in Technical assistance project/programme implementation in rural development

·         Minimum 3 years’ experience in the design and/or implementation and/or evaluation of Budget Support programmes

·         Experience in the design and/or implementation and/ or evaluation of EU Sector Budget Support programmes will be valued positively

·         Experience as key expert on EU funded Technical Assistance project/programme will be valued positively

·         Experience project/programme implementation in Integral development with coca sector will be valued positively

·         Knowledge of legal and institutional framework of Integral development with coca sector in Bolivia will be valued positively
