Social Researcher/Statistician

Project Title: 2.8 Quality Assurance and Governance

DRS is looking for:  Social Researcher/Statistician who will carry out the below activities::

• Familiarise with and provide input to the ETF survey methodology
• Develop a country database of CSOs operating in non-formal and informal skills development and services for employment
• The database is expected to comprise about 30 CSOs including their number, denomination, email address, website, contact person, and if available telephone;
• Finalize the questionnaire and run the survey
• Data analysis and draft report in English
• Organise technically the meetings (chose the most suitable online platform, make sure all participants are properly connected, etc. NB! In case of ETF participation, the interpretation costs from/into RO-EN will be covered directly by the ETF.)
• Finalise the report based on the ETF and CSOs feedback

The Expert profile should cover: 

• Solid knowledge of Civil Society Organisations in the area of non-formal and informal learning, skills development and employment services (human capital development) proven by research and publications. Between 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in the thematic area in the context of the Republic of Moldova;
• 5-10 years of experience in country stakeholder engagement;
• Understanding of the role of the CSOs and other actors in education and training, Vocational Education and Training in the Republic of Moldova, their operational mechanisms, target groups, main areas of activity, main outcomes, and source of financing;
• Understanding of the relationship between the country CSOs and the formal lifelong learning and employment system;
• Survey implementation;
• Proven (qualitative-quantitative) data analysis capacity Proven writing capacity.

The implementing period is a total of 40 man-days from March to October 2023.
