The Role
This is an exciting time to work for DT Global as we position ourselves for future growth. To lead this growth, we are looking for a Lead Bid Writer with a proven track record of success in donor funded business. You will have extensive experience of writing and delivering winning proposals in a consulting environment, particularly experience UK government funded projects. You will be responsible for delivering successful bids by leading on bid development and writing, drawing on support from across the DT Global family of companies.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the preparation of high-quality expressions of interest and pre-qualification documents for priority opportunities including:

  • Lead writer for priority bids ensuring that they deliver a clear response to the requirements of each request for proposal including developing technical methodologies and work plans,
  • Identifying the skills sets needed for successful delivery, and what strategic partnerships are needed,
  • Lead/engage with bid team story boarding sessions,
  • Liaison with technical subject matter experts to guide them through the proposal process, ensuring a winning bid is delivered,
  • Ensure that technical proposals include clear key messages and win themes,
  • Development of win themes and unique selling points for each proposal.

• Lead and engage with continuous learning across the business through proposal lesson learning and knowledge sharing exercises with colleagues,
• Ensure proposals are completed in accordance with our internal bidding process stage gates and that all proposal reviews are completed in a timely manner,
• Provide support and guidance to colleagues with proposal writing for non-priority bids.

Some overseas travel may be required.
