International Chief Resident Engineer

Position: International Chief Resident Engineer

Type of contract: Freelance Contract

Location: Various countries (Africa and MENA Region)

For our current projects and upcoming tenders, we are looking for chief resident engineers with international work experience in Jordan, Egypt, Tanzania, Morocco, Tunisia and Mozambique, .

Responsibilities:

• Overall project management of a team composed of international and local experts.
• Project planning (budget, time and quality control)
• Construction supervision including all related tasks
• Administration of FIDIC based Contracts.
• Coordination with Client and all relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and skills:

• M. Sc. degree in civil engineering/mechanical engineering or equivalent;
• 15 years of international project management experience in the water supply and sewerage sector;
• Design and construction supervision of water supply and wastewater systems, WWTPs, stormwater and sewer systems (including pump stations); 
• Experience in the administration of FIDIC based (Red/Pink/Yellow etc.) conditions of contracts;
• Experience in Africa and the MENA Region;
• Experience on projects funded by International Financing Institutions (KfW, GIZ, WB, AFD etc.) and with consulting companies;
• Excellent written and oral English/French/Portuguese skills (depending on the country).
