Key Expert 3: Junior Expert – Programme Coordinator (indicative 600 working days)
Qualifications and skills
- A university degree (Bachelor or higher) in social sciences, political sciences, international relations, economics, law, or another relevant, directly related discipline. In the absence of a degree, the expert must prove 5 years of relevant professional experience for this assignment; these 5 years will then be counted in addition to those required under 'General professional experience'.
- Excellent IT skills (in addition to all the other transversal skills that all experts mobilised under this contract must have).
- Good knowledge of Russian (B2 level minimum for speaking and writing); in addition,knowledge of other languages used in the partner countries would be an asset.
General professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the area of international cooperation (in addition to the years of experience which form a substitute for the diploma in case the expert would not have the diploma required under "qualifications and skills").
Specific professional experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience with project management in international and/or multi-partner development/cooperation projects, including major coordination and organisational tasks.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in coordinating activities and ensuring dialogue and cooperation with various stakeholders, including national authorities and NGOs.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in youth related issues in the Eastern Neighbourhood region (e.g. youth policies, youth engagement, education and skills development and youth employment, youth work, disadvantaged youth, etc.).
