Project Manager

Eptisa Türkiye is looking for Project Manager candidates for the WB funded “Regional Connectivity and Development Project-Technical Assistance to Develop Road Network Management Systems, User Charging Models and Systems to Prevent Over-loaded Axles” project that will be implemented in Azerbaijan.

Brief description of the project: The objective of the assignment is to provide technical assistance to Azerbaijan State Agency for Automobile Roads. This assignment is mainly associated with road sector sustainability through road network management supported by an intelligent transportation system (ITS), including but not limited to road user charging and overloaded axle control.

Position: Project Manager

Qualifications, experience, and skills required:

×          At least a minimum level of education of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering subject.

×         Knowledge of English

×         At least 10 years of experience in managing ITS (Intelligent Transport System) projects including at least one project for the development of a national or regional ITS strategy or RUC (Road User Charging) Feasibility.

×         At least 10 years of experience in managing ITS projects including at least one project for the development of a national or regional ITS strategy or a RUC feasibility study of similar scope to this assignment.

×         The expert must be certified in PRINCE2 or equivalent project management methodology or be able to demonstrate equivalent competence in project management.

Duration of the project: 12 months

Duration of the assignment: 8 months- Please note that the physical availability of the Project Manager in Azerbaijan is obligatory for at least a 4-month project implementation period.
