Agricultural Census - Technical Assistance

Position: Team leader (140 WD)

General description of the position: Expert providing methodological support to the agricultural census

Qualifications and skills required: 

• Masters degree
• Specific degree in statistics and census related issues is an asset
• A specific degree related to agricultural statistics is an asset
• At least 12 years of combined experience in the areas of: - census methodology and organisation - survey methodology and organisation - statistics - agricultural statistics - administrative data collection in the area of agriculture

Specific professional experience:

• At least one previous experience in the support to the design and organisation of an agricultural census - at least three years of specific experience in agricultural data collection and agricultural statistics
• Knowledge and experience in organising agricultural census in line with Regulations: Regulation (EU) 2018/1091 of the European Parliament on Integrated Farm Statistics or the previous Regulation (EC) 1166/2008 on Farm Structure Surveys and the survey on agricultural production methods will be an important asset
• Knowledge and experience in CAPI based survey and census methods will be important asset
• Experience in agricultural census and surveys in the Western Balkans regions will be an asset

Language skills:

• Good knowledge of english
• Knowledge of Albanian is an asset
