KE2 - Climate Change Expert - Cat II

Qualifications required:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree or an academic equivalent in environmental engineering or equivalent discipline.

Professional experience required:

General professional experience:

-At least 10 years’ experience in the field of energy and/or climate change management. Specific professional experience

-The expert must have at least 7 years of advisory or delivery experience on climate change (mitigation and/or adaptation) related assessment of investment projects (Minimum requirement).

-The expert must have specific knowledge and experience of carbon proofing / carbon foot-printing and climate vulnerability and risk assessment of investment projects in the energy sector, as demonstrated by the expert’s involvement in 5 projects involving carbon foot-printing and/or climate vulnerability and risk assessment projects in the energy sector in the experts’ CV (this would be considered an asset).

Fluency in English language (CEFR C2)- (Minimum requirement).
