Road Safety Specialist/ Road Design Engineer

Job Duties:

The Road Safety Specialist/Road Design Engineer will:

1. 1. Review designs, specifications, construction method, etc. from road safety perspective. 
   2. Review traffic control plans prepared by the Contractor during construction.
   3. Verify design of temporary diversions and traffic management arrangements.
   4. Regularly inspect road safety audit work zones under traffic.
   5. Conduct a post-construction road safety audit, identify road safety issues and provide recommendations to address them.
   6. Raise the EA's capacity and awareness of the international standards of road safety.

Qualifications:

• Degree in civil engineering or transport highway engineering, and
• Post graduate specialization in road safety. 
• Should possess professional licensing or certificate as a road safety auditor.
• Fifteen (15) years’ experiences in road and highways, and
• 5 years’ relevant experience in road safety audits
• Completing all road audits for preferably 2 road projects.
• Working knowledge in Russian Language.
• Experience in CIS countries is preferred.
