A degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Education and Environmental Science or related discipline.
Master’s Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Education, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning or related discipline is an added advantage;
Experience:
He/she must have at least 10 years working experience in developing and managing the implementation of ESIAs, ESMPs, Health and Safety in road projects;
He/she must have at least 5 years of working experience in developing and managing the implementation of ESIAs, ESMPs, Health and Safety for Road projects funded by international financing institutions,
Experience in working as Environmental Expert in at least two (2)roads/transport projects of similar nature;
Certifications:
He/She should be registered as Environmental Expert with a valid practicing certificate from NEMC or temporary registration from NEMC for foreigners;
Possess Professional certifications (e.g. National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) from a recognized body in the areas of Health and Safety in construction projects.
Languages:
Excellent written, spoken and reading abilities in English and Kiswahili.
