Environmental, Health and Safety Expert

Qualifications:

• A degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Education and Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Master’s Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Education, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning or related discipline is an added advantage; 

Experience:

• He/she must have at least 10 years working experience in developing and managing the implementation of ESIAs, ESMPs, Health and Safety in road projects; 
• He/she must have at least 5 years of working experience in developing and managing the implementation of ESIAs, ESMPs, Health and Safety for Road projects funded by international financing institutions,
• Experience in working as Environmental Expert in at least two (2) roads/transport projects of similar nature;

Certifications:

• He/She should be registered as Environmental Expert with a valid practicing certificate from NEMC or temporary registration from NEMC for foreigners;
• Possess Professional certifications (e.g. National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) from a recognized body in the areas of Health and Safety in construction projects.

Languages:

Excellent written, spoken and reading abilities in English and Kiswahili.
