International Advisory, Products and Systems Ltd. (i-APS) is a U.S. woman-owned and managed consulting firm. We have extensive experience in complex settings providing third-party monitoring (TPM), monitoring and evaluation (M&E), capacity building and knowledge management around the world. Our main clients are UN agencies, INGOs, nationals’ institutions, etc.

i-APS is holder of a global WFP agreement for decentralized evaluations. We did implement projects recently with WFP in Egypt, Turkey, Cambodia and Uganda.

We are planning to apply for the tender “Decentralized Evaluation OF SCHOOL FEEDING MODALITIES APPLIED IN ARMENIA from 2018 – 2023. Commissioned by WFP Country Office.

i-APS is looking for the following position to include in the Evaluation team

EVALUATION EXPERT TEAM LEADER

Estimate number of days – between 40 to 60 days from December 2023 to end of April 2024

Minimum qualification requirements

  • Nationality: Armenian or International with at least 8 years working experience in Armenia
  • Education: University degree in Political Science, Education, Development Management or another related field
  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated at least 8 Years of leading / managing evaluation for UN Agencies and INGOs
    • Demonstrated of leading at least 3 programme evaluation with UN, preferable with WFP
    • Prior experience in the education sectors and/or WFP’s School Feeding programmes, including the home-grown and food systems approaches.
    • Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Experience in reviewing/evaluating school feeding policies, strategies, and economic programmes.
    • Demonstrated working experience in Armenia
  • Language: Proficiency in both oral and written communication skills in English and Armenian language

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision of the evaluation team
  • Leading to the development of main contract deliverables: Inception report, methodology and tools and final report
  • Supervision and quality assurance of primary data collection (qualitative and quantitative)
