Final evaluation of EU-Nigeria-UNODC-CTED Partnership Project III : Counter-Terrorism Consultant/Expert

General description of the position: The consultant/expert will be responsible for the quality and timely submission of his/her specific deliverables, as specified below and defined in collaboration with the Lead Evaluator. All products should be well written, inclusive and have a clear analysis process. • Expert category: Cat. II (>6 years of experience) • Qualifications and skills required: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, in particular on criminal justice, international relations, in particular on prevention/counter terrorism, or related field; • General professional experience: Desirable: knowledge of terrorism prevention, as well as a broad understanding of the international legal instruments against terrorism; knowledge of, and experience in applying, qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods; knowledge of EU policies on counter terrorism/DDR Specific professional experience: knowledge of the provision of technical assistance is desirable, previous work/research/evaluation experience in West Africa is desirable; • Language skills: excellent communication and drafting skills; fluency in oral and written English is required; • Minimum number of working days: 50 days • Additional information: Assist the Lead Evaluator in drafting the reports
