Translation of European Scientific Literature, Manuals and Materials to Local Languages - Key Expert 3 - (N.1) Quality Check of Translated Material and Supervision of Dissemination Phase

General description of the position:

Will work under the supervision of the Team Leader. He/she will be in charge of quality control of translated material and monitor the dissemination phase.

• Expert category: Cat. III (>3 years of experience)

Qualifications and skills required: 

•University master's degree (MSc) relevant to the assignment (University of Languages) or equivalent professional experience.

•Excellent social interaction and communication skills

•Good analytical and report-writing skills

General professional experience: 

•More than 5 years' experience field of development and/or project and programme management;

Specific professional experience: 

•Minimum 5 years of professional experience in quality control check of translated reference books, materials and manuals with particular focus on Agriculture and Natural Resources

•Experience in coordinating/negotiating and communicating with EU Delegation(s), International and local stakeholders is an asset

•Experience in Eritrea and/or in the region is an asset.

Language skills: 

•Written and oral fluency of English, Italian and Tigrigna are essential
