German Sparkassenstiftung for international Cooperation (DSIK) is the development policy institution of the Sparkasse Finance Group.

A total of 330 employees work at 58 locations.

The team:
The corporate development team consists of nine employees and four working students who are responsible for the areas of acquisition and donor coordination, quality assurance, knowledge management and strategic corporate development.

Your tasks:

As project manager for acquisition and donor coordination, you will work on the initiation and conception of new projects in developing and emerging countries:

Identification of suitable tenders and financing opportunities from national and international donor institutions for development cooperation in accordance with the DSIK strategy
Management and control of the tendering process up to the conclusion of the contract
Communication within the DSIK worldwide
Collaboration with partners and existing and new donor organizations
Support with know-how in the implementation of projects based on donor-specific requirements
Representing the DSIK externally

Your skills:

Completed studies in social sciences, law or economics, professional training in banking is an advantage
Relevant professional experience in development cooperation and/or in the savings bank/finance sector
Experience in working with national and international donors (e.g. GIZ, KfW, World Bank, EBRD or EU)
Initial experience with preparing offers and expressions of interest in development cooperation
Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365
Organizational skills and ability to work within tight deadlines
Very good writing and expression skills
Very good knowledge of German and English, another foreign language would be an advantage (Spanish or French)
Intercultural sensitivity and teamwork

The position is initially limited to 2 years.
