GCF Accreditation Expert l Climate change - French-speaking

E Co. is seeking a short-term freelance expert on a GCF Accreditation assignment to support a national public entity in Senegal to be accredited with the GCF.

Our team will engage you on a GCF assignment to support a national public entity in Senegal to be accredited with the GCF.

The level of effort would be 15-20 days in the period January-June 2024.

Required experience and qualifications

Assignment specific:
- Experience with GCF Fiduciary, Environmental and Social standards
- Experience in providing support to strengthening institutional capacities of national or regional institutions in the field of finance, environment, and / or climate change, ideally in supporting nominated national or regional entities in getting accredited to the GCF
- Experience analyzing fiduciary / environmental/social standards (with a special emphasis on GCF and / or IFC Fiduciary, Environmental, and Social Standards) and formulating procedural and capacity-building plans/projects for public institutions
- Fluent in French

General:
Minimum Master’s degree or equivalent
Excellent French oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and research skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, empathetic and open
