The Barcelona Institute for Global Health, ISGlobal, is an innovative alliance between academic, government, and philanthropic institutions to contribute to the efforts undertaken by the international community to address the challenges in global health, through research, translation to policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized in three main areas, Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Child and Maternal Health, and Urban Health, Climate & Non-Communicable Diseases. ISGlobal is the first global public health centre to have received the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.

ISGlobal is looking for a motivated Project Manager experienced in European Union grants for the RECETAS project. The Re-imagining Environments for Connection and Engagement: Testing Actions for Social Prescribing in Natural Spaces project (RECETAS) project funded through the EU Horizon 2020 research programme (grant agreement 945095). Led by ISGlobal, RECETAS is exploring the impact of nature-based social prescribing to alleviate loneliness and improve health-related quality of life. The intervention is currently under evaluation, including the use of randomized controlled trials and cost effectiveness studies, to measure impact. RECETAS is being implemented in 6 countries globally, and the consortium includes 13 partners from Europe, Latin America and Australia.
The Project Manager will be responsible for all administrative and financial management aspects of the RECETAS project. The Project Manager will work closely with the Principal Investigator and other consortium members to ensure successful execution of the project and compliance with the EU funding requirements. This includes tasks related to the daily functioning of the Project Consortium, coordinating communication among partners and other stakeholders, organization of meetings, events and supporting documentation as required, document management, monitoring and reporting of milestones and budget and preparation of scientific and financial reports internally and for the EU. The PM will also support aspects of the European Urban Health Cluster activities that link the RECETAS project with five other funded initiatives exploring various aspects of urban health in the EU on topics including data protection, communication and dissemination, and citizen science.
