Non-Key Expert. Public Security Directorate/Law Enforcement

Under our ongoing project on TA to the Ministry of International Cooperation and Planning in Jordan, we are looking for a Non-Key Expert.

The purposes of this contract are as follows:

-  An identification of the relevance and scope for a potential EU-funded twinning project for PSD, providing clear recommendations on the area of intervention.

-  Drafting of a twinning fiche, as per the applicable template, for a targeted intervention through an EU Member State partner institution(s).

Non-Key expert:

Qualifications and skills

• A university degree with at least four years of university education or equivalent in a law enforcement, public administration or EU Studies / relation. In the absence of it, an additional 4 years of experience to the general professional experience is required

General professional experience

•        At least 4 years' experience at/with law enforcement or government institutions/bodies, and in similar related fields.

•        Previous experience with EU Projects and EU aid delivery methods in similar assignments

•        Experience in the Middle East context is a strong asset.

Specific professional experience

•        Demonstrated ability to deliver results in limited time is required.

•        Demonstrated ability to work at strategic as well as programmatic level is an asset.

•        EU Aid delivery PCM (Project Cycle management) knowledge and expertise

•        Previous exposer to EU Twinning Fiche/TOR is desirable.
