KE2: Deputy team leader for the project - EU4Gender Equality: Reform Helpdesk – Phase II

???? EQUINOCCIO, Compañía de Comercio Exterior S.L is looking for a KE2: Deputy team leader for the project “EU4Gender Equality: Reform Helpdesk – Phase II”

Project location: The Eastern Partnership Countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine, and the Republic of Moldova)
Start: The assignment is estimated to start 15^th August 2024.
Duration of the contract: 3 years.

Position: Part time

Key expert 2: Deputy team leader

The deputy team leader will assist the Team Leader in the overall management and coordination of the activities for the implementation of the contract. The deputy team leader will work in close collaboration with the non -key experts and provide guiding and support to ensure consistency and quality control.

Qualifications and skills

-          Master’s Degree or equivalent diploma in Public Administration, Political and/or Social Sciences, International Relations or other relevant discipline.

-          In the absence of a Master’s Degree or equivalent diploma, the Master’s Degree can be replaced by 5 years of professional experience in one or more of these fields, in addition to the minimum general professional experiences.

-          Excellent oral communication (speaking and writing) skills in English.

-          Working knowledge of Russian other state languages of the region (speaking and understanding) would be an asset.

General professional experience

-          At least 8 years of professional experience in at least one of the following fields: human rights, gender equality and/or public administration reform.

-          At least 4 years of professional experience in development cooperation.

-          At least 3 years of professional experience dealing with EU development cooperation programs.

Specific professional experience

-          At least 3 years of professional experience on policies and practices mainstreaming gender equality in development cooperation programs and external policies.

-          At least 3 years of professional experience in leading teams of experts

-          Professional experience of dealing with EU development programs in the Eastern Partnership countries is considered an asset.
