Finance Advisor (Category II)

Project: Direct Financial Advisory and Products - New advisory package for EU strategic technology sectors

Qualifications

At least a Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance, business administration, engineering and ICTs or related discipline (Minimum requirement) 

General Professional Experience

• At least 10 years’ experience in the following sub-sectors related to the lot: research and development (R&D), innovation, SMEs or Digital technologies (Minimum requirement) 

Specific Professional Experience

• Professional experience on at least 10 projects covering one or several of the following fields: financial and/or commercial due diligence, fundraising activities, venture capital investment analysis, credit analysis (Minimum requirement)
• Preferably 10 years (or more) of professional experience in on or several of the following fields: financial or commercial due diligence, fundraising activities, financial modelling, venture capital as well as investment analysis, credit analysis
• Experience on preferably 5 or more projects in financial due diligence of (quasi-) equity investment in technological companies will constitute an asset
• Prior experience of working in or advising an International Financial institution (EBRD, World Bank, etc), investment or commercial bank, rating agency will constitute an asset. 
• Experience advising companies in one or several of the following sectors will be considered an advantage: Artificial intelligence, dual-use technologies, Quantum, Cybersecurity, Semiconductors, Space, Life Sciences. 

Language and other skills

• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (CEFR C1) (Minimum requirement).
