Land Database Management Specialist with Experience in Africa

AAM Consulting is currently looking for a Land Database Management Specialist with experience in Africa and in land administration and management projects for the WB funded project “Sierra Leone Land Administration Project: Consultant for the Coordination of the Recording and Registration of Land Tenure Rights” in Sierra Leone. The project is now at the bidding phase and we are looking for an expert for a 4 years full-time position interested in implementation and possessing all qualifications and skills required for the position.

Duration: The intended start date is June 2024 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 4 years from this date. 

Working Languages: English

The overall objective of the project is to support the Ministry of Lands Housing and Country Planning (MLHCP) through the Project Coordinating Unit (PCU) to ensure that outputs and outcomes under Component 3 are achieved – including all Project Development Objective indicators, and the targets in the Intermediate Results Indicators concerning the Strategy and Business Plan, Training and Development of Manuals. 

Expertise required 

Key Expert 5: Land Database Management Specialist (full-time position)

• At least a Master’s degree in GIS, Software Engineering, Computer Science;
• At least 8 years’ experience in computerised land information management, preferably with skills in GIS-based database management systems;
• Proficiency in information systems development and management;
• Experience in working in at least 3 countries (at least one in Africa) in a Land Database Management Specialist role;
• Experience in land administration and management projects.
