AAM Consulting is currently looking for a Quality Control Specialist with experience in Africa and in land administration projects for the WB funded project “Sierra Leone Land Administration Project: Consultant for the Coordination of the Recording and Registration of Land Tenure Rightsin Sierra Leone. The project is now at the bidding phase and we are looking for an expert for a 4 year full-time position interested in implementation and possessing all qualifications and skills required for the position.

Duration: The intended start date is June 2024 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 4 years from this date.

The overall objective of the project is to support the Ministry of Lands Housing and Country Planning (MLHCP) through the Project Coordinating Unit (PCU) to ensure that outputs and outcomes under Component 3 are achieved – including all Project Development Objective indicators, and the targets in the Intermediate Results Indicators concerning the Strategy and Business Plan, Training and Development of Manuals.

Expertise required

Key Expert 6: Quality Control Specialist (full-time position)

  • Post-graduate qualifications in a technical subject or one involving social sciences;
  • At least 5 years' experience in land administration projects;
  • Experience in working in at least 3 countries (at least one in Africa).

The specialist will be expected to monitor and assess the quality of work relating to Component 3 of the SLLAP considering both technical quality and the social, gender, climate, environmental and safeguard issues that are contained in the SLLAP. The quality control specialist would focus on ensuring that the beneficiaries identified in the SLLAP are positively impacted.
