International Fishways Expert - Flood and Drought Mitigation and Management Sector

For an upcoming project, GITEC-IGIP GmbH is looking for a Fishways Specialist with expertise in the field of fish migration and proven experience in fishway design and associated activities within international development projects in tropical / sub-tropical development countries to assess the need for, advise on the design, and build related capacity.

This ADB financed project addresses climate change risks and aims to improve livelihoods of agricultural communities within the provinces of Bolikhamxai, Khammouan, and Vientiane Capital. Main project focus is directed to enhancing of floodwater management, improving climate-resiliency of irrigation infrastructure, supporting dry-season crop diversification, and improvement of climate-resilient farming practices.
