Team Leader/Public Transport Expert (category I)

NTU is preparing a proposal for an EIB project in Ukraine. The Project targets investments related to the replacement of trolleybus, tram, and metro fleets in the city of Kyiv. The expert will work remotely and in the field. 

Requested profile:  

Key Expert 1: Team Leader/Public transport expert (Category I):

Qualifications:

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree or an academic equivalent in transport engineering/economics/project management or similar discipline(minimum requirement)
• Professional training in leadership and/or project management would bean advantage.

General professional experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the transport sector orone of the sub-sectors related to the Lot, including minimum 10 years inthe field of public transport (minimum requirement)

Specific professional experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as team leader of transport projectsimplementation, including 5 years in projects focusing on electric transportsystems (minimum requirement);
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with urban transport projects includingrolling stock (minimum requirement);
• 5 years proven experience in working with national and localadministrations of Eastern Neighborhood countries will be regarded disadvantage;
• Proven experience in working with one or more IFIs on similarassignments is desirable.

Language and other Skills:

• Excellent in oral and written English (minimum requirement);
• Good knowledge of Russian/Ukrainian language is advantage.
