Wastewater Treatment Specialist

Consulting services for the design of the layout of a 9 km long reclaimed water pipeline and the realization of an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and an Environmental and social Management Plan (ESMP) for the construction of two decentralized water treatment plants and treatment systems in the locations of Zone A of Barbados.

The plan should be able to serve as a basis for the preparation of technical specifications for possible future related public tender processes, it should be sufficiently detailed to allow the realization of a complete ESIA.

PROFILE REQUIREMENT

• Minimum of a Master's degree in the field of environmental, civil or chemical engineering, or a related technical field of engineering or science.
• At least five (5) years of professional experience working on tasks related to the layout and construction of wastewater treatment systems and collection and distribution networks.
• At least three (3) years minimum of relevant experience (related to the subject matter of this procurement) in the
  Caribbean region and/or in a Small Island Developing State.
• Strong oral and written expression skills in English, proven by being a native speaker of English or having a C1 level.
