BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Expert

The overall objective of the proposed assignment (financed by the WB) is to screen and shortlist sites for development of utility-scale solar power plants with battery storage.

The specific tasks include:

(1) survey, screening, and prioritizing of sites for solar PV development;

(2) grid analysis for variable renewable energy integration;

(3) sizing sites for solar PV + storage.

The analysis will take the resource assessment from 2022 as the foundation and, through the above tasks, provide enough information at selected sites to support subsequent development of feasibility studies

 As BESS expert, solar hybrid project experience will be highly valued.
