We are currently seeking a Permanent Project engineer to join our Team at our head office in Worms - Germany:

 Job Description

  • Take care of project management and administration in the field of consulting services
  • Communication with and recruiting of experts.
  • Review of Experts’ submitted Reports
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of technical and financial proposals for tenders and requests in a timely manner, by:
    • Coordinating and ensuring efficient communication with clients, partners, and experts
    • Support the drafting, formatting and editing of technical offers/methodologies
    • Liaise with counterparts and participate in meetings with Clients and/or donors for procurement procedures and opening of technical and financial offers.
  • Fulfilling project management tasks, including responsibility for several projects won (logistics, contractual and administrative arrangements, interaction with clients, partners and teams, etc.)
  • High-level formatting and editing offers, deliverables and other project related documents (Word, Excel, PP..etc)
  • Overseeing and updating timetables and schedules
  • Perform a wide range of office support and administrative functions,
  • Respond or draft responses to routine correspondence and other communications for a wide variety of large, complex documents and reports,

We are looking for a candidate having the following professional profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant international working
  • experience and proven project management track record
  • Graduate in civil engineering, environmental engineering, municipal engineering, urban planning or related field Experience conceptualizing, implementing and managing Accompanying Measures / capacity building programs in urban development context.
  • Project experience in stormwater / urban drainage
  • Co-operative and supportive team player with ‘Can Do’ attitude
  • Good stress-resistance and ability to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of French, Spanish and/or Portuguese are an asset
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PP..etc)
