Description

Company Description

SNV is a global development partner, deeply rooted in the countries where we operate. We are driven by a vision of a better world: A world where across every society all people live with dignity and have equitable opportunities to thrive sustainably. To make this vision a reality, we need transformations in vital agri-food, energy, and water systems. SNV contributes by strengthening capacities and catalysing partnerships in these sectors. We help strengthen institutions and effective governance, reduce gender inequalities and barriers to social inclusion, and enable adaptation and mitigation to the climate and biodiversity crises.
Building on 60 years of experience we support our partners with our technical and process expertise and methodological rigour. We do this in more than 20 countries in Africa and Asia with a team of approximately 1,600 colleagues. By being adaptable and tailoring our approaches to these different contexts, we can contribute to impact at scale, resulting in more equitable lives for all.

This program operates a challenge fund to identify and support promising innovations that contribute to poverty reduction and inclusive development in these countries.

The M&E & Partnerships Advisor provides technical advisory services and leads quality assurance processes, enhancing SNV’s operational excellence in implementing Innovations Against Poverty 3.0. • Build capacity on M&E and manage strategic global IAP M&E processes for SNV teams and IAP grantees.
  • Ensure M&E inputs are provided for annual reporting and internal and external evaluations of the IAP project.
  • Design and manage surveys and processes for impact evaluation as needed.
  • Ensure data quality across program activities.
  • Maintain the monitoring and evaluation database and program dashboard.

  • Liaise with partners (e.g., BOPInc and Inclusive Business Partners) to ensure coordination and quality delivery across the four country teams.
  • Identify, coordinate, and develop knowledge learning documents fostering cross-learning processes with other relevant SNV projects.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, preferably related to innovations and business management/international development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in providing advisory on inclusive business development, gender and social inclusion, and inclusive innovation. At least 2 years of this experience should be in M&E and Knowledge Management.
  • Experience working in an international environment and/or emerging markets is a plus.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience managing projects in Africa or Asia (experience in both regions preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills.
