Youth Community-building coordinator for the project “Outreach to and engagement with young people in EU External Action”

EQUINOCCIO, Compañía de Comercio Exterior S.L is looking for a Key Expert 3: Youth Community-building coordinator for the project “Outreach to and engagement with young people in EU External Action”

• Duration of the contract: 31 months.
• The intended start date is 01^st January 2025.
• Position: part time (283 wd equally distributed during the whole duration of the contract)
  
  

Key expert 3: Youth Community-building coordinator

Qualifications and skills

• University degree (Bachelor or equivalent diploma), in at least one of the following fields: media, communication, marketing, advertising or international relations.
• In absence of a relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma, the expert shall have equivalent professional experience of minimum 3 years in development work, in addition to the minimum general professional experience requirement mentioned below.
• Good command of digital engagement methods (including digital meetings facilitation, digital co-creation, etc.) and proficiency with the relevant tools.
• Excellent command of English (at least C1 level).
• B2 level in reading, writing and speaking in at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese.
• B2 level in reading, writing and speaking in more than one of the three languages mentioned above will be considered as an asset.
• B2 level in reading, writing and speaking in Arabic or Russian is considered as an asset.

General professional experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in project management in the field of youth participation and empowerment.
• Professional experience of at least 3 years in the following areas: developing and implementing training, mentoring and peer-learning, facilitation and personal or team development.

Specific professional experience

• At least 3 years of experience in international contract management related to events organisation.
• Specific experience in on and offline community-building and networking activities is considered as an asset.
• Specific experience on strengthening youth participation in (international) policymaking is considered as an asset.
