Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Support Officer for Dutch programs for a new team. The Dutch Programs Support Officer is part of the new Institutional Fundraising and National Programs department. This department is involved in raising institutional funds and implementing programs in the Netherlands.
We are looking for someone who can plan and coordinate well and has commercial skills. As a Support Officer for Dutch Programs you are responsible for coordinating training and providing administrative support for the implementation of Dutch programs.
Our organization
The new Institutional Fundraising and National Programs department is part of War Child Netherlands. War Child has developed a series of scientifically proven interventions: the Care System. The ultimate goal of these interventions is to support children's mental well-being. A number of interventions are being implemented in the Netherlands for refugee children, young people and caregivers.
The Dutch Programs Support Officer reports to and supports the Dutch Programs Coordinator in the coordination and implementation of War Child programs in the Netherlands.

Your responsibilities
You coordinate the planning of training and are responsible for communication with trainers
You help organize training days
You are responsible for coordinating with translators and illustrators
You provide support in improving training materials
You help prepare project budgets and invoices, in collaboration with the financial team
You monitor budget expenditure and income and identify problems when they arise
You support information and document management in the relevant systems
You contribute to project reports
You help prepare presentations and documents for donors, partners and management
You support fundraisers in obtaining the right information, in collaboration with the communications team
You represent War Child in relevant working groups and at events
Profile
Education in psychology, social sciences or related field is a plus
Experience with monitoring budgets
Fluent in Dutch
Planning, coordination and reporting skills
Available for 20 hours per week
EU citizen or eligible to live and work in EU.
What we offer
Salary ranges from €2471 to €3012 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week (the exact amount is determined by the years of your relevant work experience);
8% holiday allowance based on the annual salary;
An employment contract for 20 hours until December 31, 2024.
29 days of vacation per year on a full-time basis (including 3 predetermined days off);
A pension scheme fully paid for by War Child;
Net compensation for home working and travel costs according to our hybrid work policy (our office is best reached by public transport);
Monthly mobile phone allowance of €25 net per month;
