Background
The Science Based Targets Network (SBTN) is a global initiative led by a cooperative of environmental NGOs. It empowers companies and cities to set ambitious, science-based targets to address their environmental impacts. SBTN is part of the Global Commons Alliance, a growing coalition of scientists, philanthropists, businesses, civil society groups, and innovators collaborating across climate and nature communities. Our mission is to mobilize citizens, companies, cities, and countries to accelerate systems change and become better guardians of the global commons.
SBTN is hosted by Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, and employment contracts will be with Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.
The Science Based Targets Network (SBTN) is managing key processes essential for the effective functioning of our Corporate and Partner Engagement. These include website management, CRM migration to Salesforce, and data management. The Intern support in tracking and communicating the progress of companies setting targets for nature, ensuring effective data management. The intern will support the Corporate and Partner Engagement team in maintaining high standards of data accuracy, website functionality, and seamless CRM integration.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a global initiative focused on driving environmental sustainability while gaining valuable experience in corporate engagement, communications, and data management.
The intern will report to the Corporate Engagement Officer and may work closely with the Communications and Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management:
• Assist with regular updates and maintenance of SBTN web pages, ensuring timely and accurate content delivery.
• Act as a liaison between the Communications and Marketing Team and the Corporate and Partner Engagement Program to ensure consistency in website content.
• Support the enhancement of the SBTN website by developing engaging pages that include success stories, event highlights, and updates on new releases.
Data Management:
• Support data analysis and reporting for the Corporate and Partner Engagement Program.
• Organize and clean up the corporate engagement GDrive, establishing an effective archiving and naming system.
• Regularly update and consolidate corporate engagement trackers, ensuring accurate reflection of partner and member engagement metrics.
CRM Management Support:
• Assist in the migration of data and processes to the Salesforce CRM, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
• Perform quality assurance checks to maintain smooth CRM operation and integration with existing platforms like Monday.com and WordPress.
• Identify and address emerging issues related to Salesforce CRM integration.
Knowledge Management:
• Maintain detailed documentation of all processes, procedures, and ongoing projects to ensure continuity.
• Engage in regular check-ins with the Corporate and Partner Engagement Team to monitor progress and address any challenges.
Qualifications
Education:
• Completion of secondary education is required.
Experience:
Skills and Competencies
• Attention to Detail: Must possess strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency across various platforms.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize files and systems efficiently, including archiving and naming conventions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent English to effectively collaborate with different teams and report on project progress.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle complex and dynamic issues that may arise. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
• Initiative: A proactive approach to managing tasks and suggesting improvements to existing processes.

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this role. Please note that the intern will need to make their own arrangements for a computer and any other equipment required to complete their work.
