Support the implementation of the Green Agenda in Serbia

Applus+ has been invited to bid for the SEA Lot 1 Project: Technical Assistance for the Improvement of Climate Change Policy Framework in Serbia. Th goal is the Support the implementation of the Green Agenda in Serbia.

We are looking to cover these Key Roles:

Climate Change Policy Expert (Team Leader):
Qualifications: Master's or PhD in Environmental Policy, Climate Change, or Public Policy, with 15+ years of experience in climate change policy development.
Key Skills: Deep understanding of EU policies like the Green Deal, expertise in policy alignment, and leading teams in climate-related projects.
Role: You’ll conduct a comprehensive analysis of Serbia’s climate policies, develop strategic roadmaps, and guide the entire project to success. ????????️

Climate Change Legal Expert:
 Qualifications: Master's in Environmental Law or Climate Change Law, with 10+ years of experience in transposing EU climate laws into national frameworks.
 Key Skills: Expertise in the EU’s Fit-for-55 package, legislative gap analysis, and law drafting.
 Role: You’ll align Serbia’s climate legal framework with EU standards, draft new climate-related laws, and enhance compliance mechanisms. ⚖️????
 

Institutional Capacity-Building Expert:
 Qualifications: Master’s in Public Administration or Organizational Development, with 10+ years of experience in institutional assessments and capacity-building programs.
 Key Skills: Experience with public sector reform and building institutional capacity to implement EU climate regulations.
Role: You’ll assess gaps in institutional capabilities and design programs to strengthen Serbia’s capacity to enforce climate laws. ????️????

Industrial Decarbonization Expert:
 Qualifications: Master’s in Engineering or Environmental Science, with 10+ years of experience in decarbonization technologies and strategies.
 Key Skills: Expertise in energy efficiency, carbon capture, and financial mechanisms to support decarbonization efforts.
 Role: You’ll develop a roadmap for industrial decarbonization, engage with industry leaders, and propose innovative, sustainable solutions for Serbia’s industries.
