Background and Objective of the Study
The proposed Green and Resilience Financing Facility Investment Program (GREFF/the program) is a multitranche financing facility (MFF) with a financial intermediation loan (FIL) component. The anticipated impact of the program is to contribute to the socioeconomic prosperity of Nepal by building a climate-resilient society and reducing the risk of climate change impacts on people and ecosystems through the integration of adaptation across sectors and levels of government. For that the consulting firm’s scope of work will focus on the three following outputs: Output 1: Climate change vulnerability assessment and resilience strategic framework completed; Output 2: Financing facility prepared; and Output 3: Climate and development finance secured.
Experience and Qualification
1. Master’s degree in civil engineering or other related discipline
2. 10 years of experience in infrastructure design in developing countries
3. Experience in Nepal, high mountain regions and with ADB projects are considered plusses
