Your tasks

The Expert in economic reforms will support/back-up the Team Leader and will have overall responsibility for the implementation of the project activities related to the development and implementation of structural reforms, with the aim of implementing the priorities outlined in the future Moldova Growth Plan. 



Your profile

Qualifications and skills

  • Master’s or equivalent degree in an economics related field or, in its absence, seven (7) years of professional experience on top of the years of experience required under general professional experience
  • Proficiency in oral and written English (level 1 on a scale of 1 to 5 of language competence, where 1 is proficient and 5 is basic)
  • Knowledge of Romanian language will be considered an asset

 

General professional experience

  • At least two (2) assignments of at least two (2) years in policy planning and co-ordination at government and/or EU level;
  • At least 660 working days of proven professional experience as expert in an EU funded project, implemented in an EU Member State, IPA or ENPI/ENI/NDICI country.
    Specific professional experience
  • At least 1100 working days of proven professional experience, within the last fifteen years (15) of professional experience in development, negotiation, adoption and implementation of structural and/or economic reforms in an EU Member State, IPA or ENPI/ENI/NDICI country

Location information

The project will be implemented mainly in Chisinau (Republic of Moldova).
