Gender Specialist

The primary goal of this assignment is to conduct a comprehensive Gender Study on female enrollment in male-dominated trades to:

(i)                      Identify factors influencing female enrollment in male dominated trades;

(ii)                     Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategy for TVET programs that is sensitive to gender considerations;

(iii)                  Increase the awareness and understanding of the importance of gender equality in TVET, and;

(iv)                  Promote participation and inclusion of women and girls in the male dominated TVET.

Period: 4 months. Phase: EOI 

PROFILE REQUIRED,

-            Master’s Degree in Social Studies, Social Sciences or related field.

-            Minimum 7 years of experiences in Gender studies, communication strategies.

-            Outstanding communication and analytical skills with excellent command of spoken and written English and Somali languages.
