Key expert 2: Design Expert

Qualifications and skills
▪ A university degree in civil / environmental engineering or equivalent, MSc or post graduate in engineering will be an asset.
▪ Full computer literacy – including engineering design software(s).
▪ Good command of spoken and written English.
▪ Good knowledge of requirements for designs and technical documentation from projects tendered under procurement procedures and rules of IFIs.
▪ Good knowledge of requirements of Turkish legislation concerning designs, construction and engineering.

General professional experience
▪ Preferably 15 years of design experience in environmental infrastructure projects, but a minimum
of 10 years is required.

Specific professional experience
▪ Experience in design of drinking water / wastewater networks infrastructure as relevant (the most recent design experience should be within the last 7 years).
▪ Experience in design of drinking water treatment plants / wastewater treatment plants as relevant (the most recent design experience should be within the last 7 years).
▪ Experience in review and validation of infrastructure and/or superstructure engineering projects.
