Job Summary:
As Country Manager, based in the Federated States of Micronesia, you will lead and represent the country program office, driving forward programming and operations objectives aligned with Catholic Relief Services' (CRS) mission to serve the poor and vulnerable. Your strong management and representation skills will be crucial in enhancing CRS's reputation and impact, while you proactively manage security concerns and mitigate risks and liabilities.
CRS's Pacific programs achieve impact through collaboration, prioritizing partnerships, capacity building, and local leadership. In the North Pacific, CRS directly implements programs, coordinating with state and federal government offices in the Federated States of Micronesia. Additionally, we work through local Caritas partner organizations and government stakeholders in the Republic of Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, and the Independent State of Samoa.
With the upcoming launch of the CPs strategy framework, the CP has a renewed and reinvigorated commitment to expanding the impact of our programs by developing an influential voice with government stakeholders, advancing local leadership with strategic government, Church, and combating the effects of climate change.
Our program portfolio in the Pacific encompasses Climate Change Adaptation, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Emergency Response and Water and Sanitation.
