SGS Netherlands intends to submit a proposal to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria to develop a tool to monitor and manage the carbon footprint of health products in 8 countries. We are looking for an expert in carbon footprint assessments to complete our team. The work will be mostly remote, with travel to the selected countries. The assignment includes delivery of training on how to use the tool.
The assignment is expected to start in December 2024 and end in October 2026.

Required experience:
- · Expertise and experience in running carbon footprint assessments of products across their full life cycle.
- · Experience in conducting environmental and sustainability assessments of products and their supply chains in Low-and-Middle-Income Countries, especially in Africa.
- · Familiar with existing tools and defined methodology that supports the calculation of carbon footprint across the supply chain.
- · Experience in working on health products.
- · Experience developing carbon and environmental strategies/roadmaps in the public sector.
- · Understanding of health product regulations at country, regional and global levels.
- · Experience in capacity building
