As an International Climate Finance Specialist, you will lead strategic financial initiatives driving significant outcomes, both environmental and financial. You'll take on diverse projects including designing, implementing, and monitoring green finance instruments and programs tailored to meet the specific needs of our international clients comprised of both international and local financial institutions (IFIs and LFIs).

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Track and monitor the financial performance and environmental impact of climate finance initiatives and produce comprehensive reports for key stakeholders.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to financial institutions on the development and implementation of climate finance products.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders including our international clients.

What we are looking for

  • Master’s degree in finance or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in climate/sustainable energy finance and climate/impact investment at an international level.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with proficiency in Spanish or French.
  • Experience working with or in collaboration with IFIs, LFIs, Commercial Banks and/or National Development Banks.
  • Skilled in using MS365 tools, including SharePoint for document management, Teams for remote collaboration, and Excel for financial modeling and data visualization.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% internationally
