Team leader / Market System Development expert (min. 880 working days)

Qualifications and skills
• Master’s Degree in economics, or social sciences, or international relations or international development, or a relevant, directly related discipline, or, in its absence, equivalent relevant professional experience of minimum 10 years.

General professional experience
• Minimum 10 years professional experience in project management in complex or fragile context, with a minimum 3 years professional experience as Team Leader of multicultural team(s);
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in project management in Sub Saharan Africa. Relevant experience in Ethiopia would be an advantage;
• An excellent verbal and written command of English is required.

Specific professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on socio-economic development programmes;
• Minimum 2 years of experience relating to Market System Development in contexts of forced displacement;
• Minimum 2 years of experience relating to inclusion of vulnerable population into markets;
• Minimum 1 year of experience relating to design or implementation of innovative financial products to the benefit of vulnerable population;
• Minimum 1 year of experience relating to design or implementation of support to vulnerable population through diaspora engagement;
• Minimum 2 years of experience relating to design or implementation of capacity building of government and/or civil society stakeholders on economic integration of vulnerable population.
