Job Purpose
International Alert is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Officer to support our team in projects, specifically related to social stability, gender equality, psychosocial support (MHPSS), and education in Lebanon. The role involves coordinating project activities, coordinating with local partners, and providing technical expertise to ensure the effective delivery of project outcomes. The Project Officer will work closely with the senior management team to implement gender and MHPSS strategies that address community needs and promote sustainable peace.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to Alert’s values, including conflict sensitivity, safeguarding, and gender mainstreaming.

This position is based in Beirut with regular travel to project locations in Bekaa, Tripoli, and Mount Lebanon.
