Communication expert / EU4CSO - Support to EU engagement with civil society organisations in Ukraine (Phase 3)

General description of the position: The communication expert oversees and manages all communication activities that are implemented as part of the contract, including subcontracting and liason with media.

• Expert category: Place of Performance - Cat. II (>6 years of experience)

• Qualifications and skills required: Completed university studies of at least three (3) years, attested by a diploma in a relevant field, for example media, humanities, political or social science, PR or journalism. In its absence 5 years of equivalent professional experience Strong organisational and communication skills.

• General professional experience: At least 6 years professional experience working in communications or public relations

• Specific professional experience: At least 4 years professional experience working with civil society or media communication in Ukraine At least 2 years experience in capacity development for CSOs in the field of media, public relations Experience in working on EU integration related issues with civil society or media will be considered an asset Proven experience in managing communication activities including planning and procurement of services

• Language skills: Good command in written and spoken in English and Ukrainian languages required

• Number of working days: 600 days

• Additional information: The communication expert works closely with and under guidance of the team leader and the EU Delegation project manager and communication team.
