Proposal Objective:  

Social Impact is bidding on the upcoming DOS/PRM task order focused on TPM Services for Humanitarian Assistance to Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. The purpose of this activity is to support PRM’s ongoing oversight of humanitarian assistance efforts for Palestinians in the three areas via the provision of TPM support services. DOS/PRM’s main goals are four-fold: 

1. Verify the delivery of goods and services.
2. Monitor implementation quality of PRM-funded activities. 
3. Collect feedback from recipients of assistance. 
4. Assess program risks and oversight.  

Position Description:  

Social Impact is seeking a part-time Senior Technical Advisor/Senior Humanitarian Assistance SME to provide technical direction to the contract, and quality assurance on all deliverables.  

This will be a part-time position based in the region for the duration of the contract, contingent upon contract award. The anticipated award date for the proposal is Summer 2025.  

**Candidates based in Palestine or with Palestinian citizenship are strongly encouraged to apply. International candidates with experience in Palestine will also be considered.** 

Responsibilities:  

• Ensure all data collection tools, reports, and deliverables are appropriate for use in humanitarian settings and appropriate for with vulnerable populations.  

Qualifications:  

• Advanced degree in social sciences, humanitarian policy, or other relevant technical or sectoral expertise. 
• At least 10 years of experience implementing or monitoring humanitarian activities.  
• Experience implementing or monitoring humanitarian assistance, including for public international organizations or international non-governmental organizations (NGOs). 
• Demonstrated in one or more technical sectors of PRM-funded partner intervention, such as protection, health, WASH, shelter, cash-based interventions, etc. 
• Experience in Middle East region required. 
• Strong English speaking/writing ability.  Arabic language a plus.
