Pool 1 – Senior Experts

DEM is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals to join our expert roster for a communication project for ECOWAS . This roster will consist of Senior Experts who will provide strategic advice, technical expertise, and capacity building in the areas outlined below. Successful candidates will be engaged on an as-needed basis for short-term consultancies and specific assignments within the project’s mandate.

Key Areas of Expertise

• Specialist in the fight against disinformation, with 6 years of general communication experience in ECOWAS or 5 years of general communication experience in Nigeria of which 3 years in the fight against disinformation.
• Specialist in the development and implementation of online and offline communication campaigns, with 6 years of general communication experience in ECOWAS or 5 years of general communication experience in Nigeria of which 3 years in the development and implementation of communication campaigns.
• Crisis/emergency communication specialist, with 6 years of general communication experience in ECOWAS or 5 years of general communication experience in Nigeria of which 3 years in crisis/emergency communication (i.e. an expert who has worked in COVID is very good).
• Organisational development specialist for regional organisations, with 6 years of general communication experience in ECOWAS or 5 years of general communication experience in Nigeria of which 3 years in crisis/emergency communication (i.e. a COM expert who has worked in com COVID will be welcomed).

4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN TRAINING (ORGANISATION OF TRAINING ACTIVITIES) MUST BE JUSTIFIED.

At least English, French or Portuguese are required for each position (one of the languages).
