Functional responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the ICTSenior Analyst - ICT Project Manager, the ICT Analyst - Solutions Design (Fullstack Developer / Drupal) will be responsible for:
- Validates functional requirements from clients.
- Contribute to the definition, design and development of enterprise applications using Open Source technologies. Experience of Drupal is required.
- Actively contributes ideas and approaches during design sessions with other developers and UX /UI designers.
- Ensure the implementation of web applications ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and usability of systems by assisting in adhering to established and evolving architectural standards.
- Work on adapting mock-up designs from Figma, Adobe XD or PSD to Drupal themes.
- Has ample knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques to ensure the proper performance of deliverable functionalities, providing test cases and avoiding regressions
- Supports in the application deployment and maintenance of the infrastructure using IaC techniques
- Supports in the development of innovative concepts that could be implemented in addition to, or as a replacement of, existing solutions
- Supports the creation of user and project technical documentation
- Contributes to the tracking and reporting times and efforts invested on the assigned tasks. Knowledge on Atlassian products is highly desirable (Jira, Confluence).
- Performs other Web development related duties as required.
The incumbent will be expected to:
- Ensure timely delivery of project products and services,
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise applications,
- Support the ICT Project Manager in solid working relationships with the clients and key stakeholders.
Education/Experience/Language requirements
a. Education
- A first level university degree (Bachelor degree or equivalent) in information technology, communications, computer science, information systems, statistics or related fields is required.
- An advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in a related field is desirable and may substitute some years of experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Code Writing with HTML, CSS, JS, PHP is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Drupal development is required.
- Experience in transforming UI designs from Figma, PSD or Adobe XD to HTML + CSS is desirable.
- Experience in LAMP stack is desirable.
- Experience in AWS or GCP is desirable.
c. Languages
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledgeof other UN languages such as French or Spanish is highly desirable.
