Background
Akros Research is a pioneering organization dedicated to establishing data-driven systems that enhance the health and wellbeing of disadvantaged communities. With extensive on-the-ground knowledge and a track record of delivering sustainable solutions in developing regions, Akros has been at the forefront of health systems strengthening.
The organization is currently supporting safety surveillance strengthening across 15 Eastern and Southern Africa countries, under the Africa CDC Saving Lives and Livelihoods Programme, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.
Under the Programme’s second Phase, Akros Research will partner with select Pharmacovigilance Networks and provide targeted support to strengthen their visibility and communications.
To support these activities, Akros Research is hiring a Marketing Consultant to review current network online presence and communication efforts, provide recommendations on how to increase the impact of communications efforts, and provide content and guidance on how to execute recommendations.
Key responsibilities
The Marketing Consultant will work closely with the PV Network Manager, project team, and stakeholders, while reporting to the Project Director to ensure the successful achievement of the outlined objectives.
