m4h is currently seeking to expand its dynamic head office team in Frankfurt am Main/Germany with a Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
Project Acquisition
- Oversee the opportunity management pipeline, from analysing forecasts and tender documents to developing high-quality proposals that align with tender requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Coordinate go/no-go decision-making process based on opportunity assessment and strategic fit.
- Coordinate the bid team, ensuring effective collaboration among internal teams, experts, and partners.
- Ensure all proposals meet the highest quality and ethical standards, aligning with client priorities and evaluation criteria.
- Manage communication with clients, partners, and international/national experts during the acquisition phase.
- Strategically position the company for successful proposal submissions, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and programmatic objectives.
Project Implementation
- Manage projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and monitoring, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate with clients, partners, and beneficiaries to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder engagement.
- Identify, recruit, and contract short and long-term experts for project implementation.
- Monitor expert performance and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Review and approve invoices for experts and partners while ensuring proper financial management and reporting.
- Prepare and submit outgoing invoices to clients and ensure timely acceptance of project deliverables and reports.
- Maintain timely and accurate project documentation, adhering to knowledge management processes for ongoing and completed projects.
- Manage diverse stakeholder relationships (experts, partner organisations, and clients), and build up trust.
Qualifications:
Education and experience
- Relevant academic degree in public health, international development, business administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in managing or supporting bilateral or multilateral cooperation projects. Experience in development cooperation or public procurement processes is a strong asset.
Language skills
- Fluent in business English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in German, French, or Russian is highly desirable.
