Insuco is an independent international consulting firm specializing in social sciences and sustainability, with permanent offices in Africa (Guinea, Burkina Faso, Djibouti, Madagascar, Gabon, Togo, Morocco), in Latin America and Caribbean (Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Haiti and the Dominican Republic) and in Asia (Cambodia and Saudi Arabia). MISSION

As part of Saudi Arabia's rapid expansion and development, our office in the country is one of our newest ventures. We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our team and drive Insuco's projects in both Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

The Project Manager intervenes under the supervision of the Technical Director to ensure the commercial monitoring concerning calls for tenders, to contribute to the administrative development (collection of administrative documents and references) of commercial files, and to the logistical preparation of implementation of projects. He also participates in the implementation of the commercial and technical policy to help achieve the objectives defined in the office's global strategy.

LOCATION

Position based in Riyadh, with travel possibilities within and outside the country.

ROLE AND ACTIVITIES

1) Business Development 

  • Participate in business intelligence,
  • Contribute to finding new clients/projects and maintaining relationships with current/past clients,
  • Prepare responses to calls for tender and calls for expressions of interest.

2) Project planning and management

  • Plan and execute projects and studies:

      - Sizing and mobilising the necessary resources,

      - Organising fieldwork in collaboration with support departments (Legal, HR, Logistics, Finance, Administration),

      - Supervising the progress of studies (activities, timetables, budgets, quality),

      - Ensure client relations,

      - Carry out quality control of deliverables under the supervision of Technical Director,

      - Coordinate the relationship and communication between the different project's stakeholders,

      - Generate the corresponding alerts in case of identifying risks that may affect the normal course of the projects in execution.

  • Use and feed the ERP and any digital solutions applied to project and knowledge management.

3) R&D / Capitalisation of tools and knowledge

  • Participate in the construction and improvement of methodologies and tools,
  • Participate in the office's technical capitalisation projects,
  • Monitor and participate in the Group's internal projects.

REQUIRED PROFILE

Training

  • Minimum master’s degree in social sciences, economics, agronomy, or environmental studies.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in responding to bids and in project management and coordination.
  • Knowledge of international standards and issues related to Social Impact Studies and Principles of Action for Resettlement, as well as experience in developing countries and in consulting firms, would be additional assets.
  • Experience in the region or the country is an advantage.

Skills

  • Excellent writing skills (writing, analysis, and revision of proposals, technical and strategic documents) are required.
  • Excellent mastery of English, both oral and written, is necessary, proficiency in Arabic would be an asset.
  • Proficiency in office suites and computer tools is essential.
  • Master project management.
  • Proficiency in general computer tools is essential.
